The metro goes straight to the Duomo in five stops, with no line change. That was handy, but coming back from the station after dark with my children felt worrying. The street itself is quiet, though the surrounding area didn’t feel safe to me, so families should think carefully about that. Considering how expensive accommodation in Milan can be, the value here is reasonable. The rooms have plenty of space to live and store things. But the bathrooms need renovating and didn’t feel hygienic. Reception said daily cleaning was provided, but unfortunately it wasn’t. A booking site listed parking, but that wasn’t accurate. There’s no private hotel parking, and finding a spot in this part of Milan is difficult.

We only stayed a night, but it was comfortable and well priced. We were upgraded to a two-bedroom, two-bathroom loft with a living area, kitchen, and dining table with four chairs. It’s in a great spot, close to the train and a pleasant canal path for running. Worth the stay!

The rooms were clean, modern, and updated, and breakfast was good. Staff were friendly, too, and lent us umbrellas one night when the weather was lousy. The location was spot on, just two minutes from the train station and one minute from the tour bus stop.

It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, with groceries and restaurants at least a five-minute walk away. The subway is only a few minutes off, though the main tourist sights aren’t walkable from here. The duplex room was actually pretty nice. There was only one person at the desk, but they were helpful. The main snag is arriving after 6 p.m., since they need to make special arrangements. We sorted ours out over WhatsApp.

A quiet area with shops nearby, and the Duomo is under 15 minutes away by metro. For Milan, it was a great deal. Our clean, roomy loft worked well for a family of four, or five at most, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Parking costs €15 a day, with no reservation, and whether your car fits depends on its size and your ability to get into the lot. The city tax was €3.50 per person.
