Bed Milano Linate

Check-in was easy and the rooms were great. Parking was the one snag: it was listed online, but there wasn't any, so I had to find a spot down the street.

I stayed here in October 2024, then came back in February 2025. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked, and the M4 metro is walkable, with connections into the city and to Linate airport. The property is close to a busy street, though, so you’ll hear the metro, buses, cars, and other background noise. It isn’t quiet, which is worth keeping in mind if you’re a light sleeper or need silence. I didn’t see anyone in person during my first stay, but the WhatsApp check-in instructions were clear. Staff also arranged a taxi to Linate for my early flight around 4:45am. It cost me 23€. That October stay went smoothly even though my delayed flight meant I arrived late. A hotel representative had messaged me at 2pm on WhatsApp with the check-in instructions and building code. In February, I booked through the Capital One cc travel portal and got no WhatsApp message or access code. I arrived at the regular 3pm check-in time, assuming someone would be there, but nobody answered the doorbell. I waited outside in the cold for a long time until a representative named Andrea sent me the code on WhatsApp. He said he hadn't received my phone number or email. Capital One told me their system sends that information to the hotel automatically. Andrea offered nothing for the long wait after a day of travel, and his manner felt dismissive and condescending. I hadn’t been disrespectful or raised my voice. I just explained what Capital One had told me and asked how they receive and store customer contact details. He seemed frustrated by my questions, as if I should brush the whole thing off. I was a woman alone in the cold with heavy luggage, and the room was already prepaid. This can be a good option when everything goes smoothly. If there’s a problem, though, you may be brushed off without a credit or discount. Contact the hotel beforehand to confirm the check-in details. Waiting outside would have been even worse late at night or in the rain.

The online check-in was really convenient. They emailed a personal code for the front door, so there was no need to meet anyone in person. The room was reasonably priced, and I was very happy with my stay ;). It’s a lovely place, a little way from the center, which keeps things calm, but it’s still easy to reach by car or public transport. There’s also a very cool club just 5min. away, Amnesia, which I highly recommend.

We had a glorious stay in Milano. There are some fantastic restaurantes nearby, including Soprattutto and Donna Assunta 1954, both worth trying for delicious food. The tram and metro stops are right next door, and beautiful neighborhoods are about 5-10 minutes away on foot.
