The receptionists were friendly and tried to help, and they offered free luggage storage. That was about the only positive in an otherwise awful stay. I paid 6 euros extra for linen and city tax, but was told cash payment would get me a 5 euro discount. The ATM the receptionist directed me to charged a 2.20 fee. Before I went to sleep, I saw a bedbug on the bed in my first room. They moved me to another room where someone homeless was staying. Most rooms are in the basement with no ventilation inside or outside them. The toilet and bidet were clogged, and there was mold everywhere. The ground-level window looked out onto parked cars, and it was pretty noisy. The surrounding area was miserable. The place should cost no more than 10 euros a night, in my opinion. I also suspect the positive reviews are given in exchange for free coffee and possibly a discount, based on the photos.
