IMHOME - Cadorna House

The location is handy for the center and public transport, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Several things were broken, including an air conditioner that leaked. I sent eight messages about the problems and the possible risk from the leak, and still got no reply, even after checkout. They said the room would be ready at 1pm, but when I arrived at 2pm, I had to wait in the corridor for another 40 minutes while it was cleaned. The broken window meant we woke up covered in bites. I was really disappointed, and don’t think it was worth what we paid.

The photos make the place look good, but my room had a broken AC unit. The shower wouldn’t drain, so water pooled up to my ankles and I had to pause halfway through to keep it from overflowing. The door was out of alignment and took several tries to close. I eventually figured out the one particular way to get it to stay shut. Stay away.

The rooms were clean and modern, and the location worked perfectly for our one day in Milan. It’s next to the M1 and M2 lines, so we reached the Duomo in under 10 minutes and easily caught the Malpense Express to the airport at 6am. We booked the same day and were a little worried about check-in, but after we texted the number they provided, someone arrived within minutes. There’s a late check-in fee after 9, so bear that in mind if you’re arriving late. There’s no elevator or front desk staff.
