The furniture felt old, and the room itself was only mediocre. We also had no kettle or teapot for coffee or tea, and not even a bottle of water when we got thirsty during the night. We had specifically told reception we didn't want a loft or attic room, but were told nothing else was available, so we ended up in a claustrophobic attic. It wasn't the room we had seen and booked online. I wouldn't stay here again in Milan, and I can't recommend it.

We had a really pleasant stay. The staff were helpful, and there was a small bar as well as a conservatory for breakfast. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, with a balcony looking onto a quiet enclosed garden. The hotel is only a few minutes from Central Station, and it's easy to reach central Milan on foot or by public transport. We'd come back.

Friendly staff and a good breakfast in this cute little hotel. It's not the newest place, but it's in good shape. You can walk to the train station, trams and metro, and I'd stay here again.

Hotel Charly worked really well as our base for exploring Milan, with Centrale Main Station within walking distance. We especially liked our balcony room, and the hotel itself is charming and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent too. Five stars.

The spacious bathroom and super cozy bed made my room a comfortable place to come back to, and I slept well. Breakfast was another highlight, fresh and delicious with lots of choices. There were three cakes, and the staff gave me a recommendation that turned out super. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home with warm, outstanding service. Hotel Charly has a lovely mix of charm and comfort. I'll definitely return. Five stars from me.
