The noise was the main problem during our two nights. We were put in a room at the end of the first-floor corridor, even though the hotel didn’t seem full. A loud mechanical sound, apparently from behind the wall or ceiling and possibly building equipment, made it hard to fall asleep, woke us repeatedly, and left us exhausted. We could also clearly hear people outside. We thought it might be temporary since we were only there for two nights, but it happened again the next night. It kept coming around bedtime, through the night, and in the early morning. For a four-star hotel, it was surprising that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room. We were also given just one key card for two guests. A very disappointing stay, well below what I’d expect from a four-star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and I’d happily stay here again. It’s a good base for Milan if you’d rather be away from the city center’s bustle. A metro stop is nearby, and there are plenty of other ways to get around too.

The breakfast team, cleaning lady, and porter were all helpful, and Francesco, Daniele, Marco & Eleanor made everything feel really comfortable and easy. I loved my City Life People. Such a great stay!

You can walk to pretty much anything you might need from here. The rooms are average, but they were clean and had what was needed. Everyone at reception was really kind.

Getting into the city was easy, and breakfast had a really good range of choices. The rooms were clean and roomy enough. Staff everywhere, from reception and breakfast to housekeeping, were friendly and courteous.
