It's decent value, and the location works well since you can reach places by metro. The place is clean, though it's not especially quiet or comfortable, and it isn't the nicest either. We couldn't sleep in because the cleaners began at 9:30, even though checkout was at 11:00. There's also a €30 fee for check-in after 22:00, rising to €35 after 00:00. The room had no mirror, and we couldn't switch off the heating, so it got quite hot.

The room was cramped, with barely enough room to move around the bed. The mattress was so poor that it gave us back ache, and dusty covers made my daughter's eczema worse. Although the property listed a washing machine and oven hob, neither worked. I reported this to the office and nothing was done. There wasn't even a kettle or microwave. Getting checked in was a whole ordeal. We arrived in Milan on a rainy day during the lunch break, when the office was shut, and had to wait an hour in the rain with our small kids. The reception was tiny and packed with travellers. Then the property itself was far from the reception, which was another letdown.

I wouldn't recommend booking this place. The room looked great in the photos and the price was amazingly low, so I booked it. But when people arrive, they're apparently told the room was robbed that morning and everything is broken, then given a lower-quality alternative. I found this place in my booking history, and I've heard this has happened to other guests in Italy too. It seems like a scam run by local guest services companies. I'd avoid it.

The apartment looked much older than the photos showed, and when I asked Kate to arrange some work, she never did. I also found Kate quite coercive in how she dealt with her work. I paid her a 500 euro deposit, which still hasn't been returned. I've messaged several times and now she doesn't reply. My experience with this agency has been a disaster, so please be careful before committing, especially when dealing with Kate. She doesn't follow through on what she says. I'm doing my best to give an honest opinion.
