The resident cat deserves five stars on its own. The hotel is only two stars, but it’s clean, well managed, and priced very reasonably. Rooms are tidy and have no unpleasant smells. They aren’t the quietest, though they’re nowhere near the loudest budget rooms I’ve stayed in. Staff are attentive around the clock, and being close to the main train station is especially handy. It’s one of Milan’s best value stays, as long as you’re not expecting a five-star hotel.

The rooms were acceptable, but the staff and service made this one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. At checkout we asked for Wi-Fi access, and the Italian staff member nearly kicked us out, saying we didn’t need Wi-Fi because we were checking out. I’ve never been treated with such rudeness and unprofessionalism by hotel staff. The ground floor had a powerful, unpleasant smell, like a garbage dump. The area also felt strange and somewhat unsafe, almost like it had a criminal atmosphere. The service was awful and left us with a very negative impression. I’d never recommend this place.

The staff were rude and no help, and honestly the price is too high for a “bad service hostel.” There’s no kitchen, the bathroom is shared, and they wouldn’t let us use the balcony or sit at reception for 10 minutes after checkout to charge our phone. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Please read the other one-star reviews before you book. The owner and staff were extremely rude, cold, aggressive, and unprofessional. It felt like they didn’t want guests there at all. Not long after I checked in, they aggressively told me to leave just because a local friend had stopped by briefly. They wouldn’t listen or speak politely, and I felt very unwelcome and unsafe. The room was tiny and old, and didn’t look like the photos online. The place wasn’t as described, and the owner’s behavior made me feel disrespected. I also saw that several other guests had similar problems. Please look at the other reviews before booking, especially if you’re an international traveler.
