I’m so glad I found this specialty coffee shop in Milan. Sitting at the counter with my pour-over and chatting with the barista and the owner Mary was lovely. They’re both really knowledgeable about making good coffee and such nice people. The Ecuadorean sidra was super light, with a pleasant bitterness that reminded me of grapefruit. I loved the whole visit :) I’ll be back when I’m in town to try more of the funky beans.

European Coffee Trip is how I found this place, and I wish I’d discovered it sooner. There’s a big range of high-grade coffee, including naturals, washed coffees, co-ferments, and rare microlots, all roasted light and developed perfectly. MJ talked us through the coffees and brewing with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. I also got to chat with the owner and one of the roasters. Everything here is top tier, from the coffee and brewing to the staff, conversations, and smiles. A must when you’re in Milan.

We ended up making this our daily coffee stop. The espresso is spot on, and the V60 is amazing. There are so many coffees to choose from that we kept trying two or three types per visit, and every one was great. Loved the atmosphere and the place itself.

The staff are friendly and know their stuff, and they can help you find something that suits your taste from a huge selection. I’ve been to plenty of coffeeshops, but I’ve never seen so many roast options. The one I tried was among my three favorite coffees ever. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into speciality coffee. And if coffee isn’t your thing, I suspect they could still find something you like and brew a cup that surprises you.
