Hintown Castle Mansion

The bed is very comfortable, the rooms are quite good, and the staff are polite and friendly. It's in a good area, too. But the price doesn't make sense for what's provided. The reception closes at 6:00 p.m., and if the app fails to open the main door after that, there's no way to get in or contact anyone. The service level doesn't match what you pay. Overpriced!

The rooms were good and the bed was comfortable, but the whole experience left me disappointed. I arrived at 7:30 pm after my flight was cancelled, and finding the place was already a struggle. There's no sign on the building, and it doesn't feel like a real hotel. I rang the bell for 20 minutes without knowing what to do. A neighbor eventually arrived and showed me where reception was, though he warned me not to stay because it was really bad. Nobody was at the desk, so I had to call a number at my own mobile expense. They then told me which envelope to take for my room key. And my room looked nothing like the photos of the one I'd booked.

The bed was so comfortable, and the rooms were just right for two. We also liked the little snacks in jars around the hotel, along with the coffee, tea, and bathroom products. Debora was lovely and helpful, and her service was exceptional. Great accommodation, we'd highly recommend staying here.

For the price, this was stunning value. The welcome was lovely, the rooms were spotless, and the air conditioning was perfect, which was essential. It's not really a hotel in the usual sense. It's two floors of a beautiful old Milan building converted into bedrooms, with no reception or shared areas. We found it quite hard to work out how to get in, since there was no sign.
