Hotel Calimala Milano

It was a bit noisy late into the weekend, though weekday nights were quiet. The hotel has a very clean, modern and luxurious feel, and the staff were accommodating when they let us move one night from their sister hotel in Florence to this one. We had an early flight and would have missed the breakfast we'd paid for, so they packed us a generous box to take to the airport.

Breakfast at €25 felt a little expensive, so we chose local coffee and pastries instead. The check-in and checkout were efficient, and the location is very central, just a short walk from trains, the metro and streetcars. The hotel feels brand new, with elegant modern decor, lots of marble, stone and mirrors. Our room was pristine, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of products. I'd definitely stay here again.

The PT Venezia area is a lively, trendy place to stay during Salone, with plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I've been coming to Milan for Salone for 20 years, and this is honestly the best hotel I've stayed at. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and really comfortable. The small balcony gave us somewhere outdoors to sit, relax or get some work done. The staff were excellent, friendly and always ready to help. Thanks to everyone for a great stay. I'll definitely be back to Hotel Calimala.

We finished our Thanksgiving trip to Italy with one night at Hotel Calimala Milano, and it was a lovely end to the trip. The location is very convenient, especially with the train station so close. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help us check in early. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary minibar and welcome drinks. The room was spotless and well appointed, with fantastic quality throughout. We especially loved the soft, warm slippers. I'd highly recommend it for a short, convenient and welcoming stay in Milan.
