The staff were great, and the room was clean. There’s a 24/7 supermarket nearby, which is handy. A mini fridge would have made the place much better. There’s no air conditioning, but we were there in May and didn't need it.

There was some loud talking in the corridor in the morning, though I couldn't tell whether it was cleaners or other guests. Apart from that, I'd happily come back to Milan and stay here again. My friend and I had been concerned by the awful Google Reviews, but our room, beds, and bathroom were all very clean, and the staff were lovely. They were happy to lend us a hairdryer when we asked. It's not a five-star hotel, of course, but it had what we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also well priced and close to a Metro.

For a tight budget, I'd recommend this place. The staff are kind and helpful, and there's a big Carrefour supermarket nearby. The neighborhood is calm and pleasant, though you'll need the metro to get around because it's a bit far from the center. A three-day metro pass could save you from buying single tickets. The rooms are small, as you'd expect at a one-star hotel. There's a decent fan but no hairdryer, mini fridge, or air conditioner. There are quite a few ants on the floor, and they sometimes get onto the furniture. The room has only three sockets, including the one used by the TV.

It's fine if you just want a basic, cheap room and can put up with a slight cigarette smell, traffic noise, and dated decor. Getting to the metro is easy, and our room was clean for this kind of place. Definitely not one for a honeymoon.
