Hotel Demó

The reception staff were always kind and helped with information and sorting out my issues. The place is very central, with lots of amenities around. My room was a little small, but that was fine since I didn't spend much of the day in it. The shower was strange to use because there was a particular sequence needed to get hot water.

You can hear conversations from the next room, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work. The city tax for a three-star hotel is €7.4 and has to be paid in cash. The only advantages are the hotel's proximity to the station and the clean room.

The location is the main plus, near the train and bus station, though the hotel isn't really in the center. The rooms are very small, not very clean, and uncomfortable for the price. I also found it really uncomfortable that we had to leave our key at reception whenever we went out. Once our friend came up for literally five minutes just to change clothes, and staff spoke to us very rudely because three people weren't allowed in the room, even though we knew that. Breakfast was okay, but not very good.

Gwen at reception made a big difference to our stay at Hotel Demo. She was so kind and welcoming, and her hospitality made us feel at home. It's also in a perfect spot, just a short walk from the Central Station, so getting around Milan was easy. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hotel Demo. The service and welcoming atmosphere were exactly what we wanted.
