Hotel Domenichino

Getting to the historic city center is easy by metro or tram, and there are shops nearby. The hotel itself was excellent, with modern furniture and equipment, comfortable rooms, and a perfect location. Breakfast had a good variety, and the room was cleaned daily. If you need tea or coffee, or want food heated in the evening, you can ask at the front desk.

The neighborhood was quiet and nice, and the Duomo was a short taxi ride away. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were courteous and helpful.

The afternoon team were fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and professional. There's potential here, but poor morning service and a lack of attention to detail overshadow it. When we arrived early to check in, a man named Robert at the front desk barely looked up from his phone and treated us like an inconvenience. He made us wait in a corner without clear information, and his replies felt sarcastic and passive-aggressive, as if he were pretending to be polite in a mocking way. The room and common areas also had a lot of dust and felt neglected. Breakfast is worth planning around. Arrive before 9:00 AM if you want any, since most food is gone afterward and they don't replenish it or pay attention to guests still arriving. It feels rushed and first-come-first-serve, rather than like a proper hotel breakfast. If you stay, I'd recommend dealing with the afternoon team for anything you need.

The hotel looked about 5/10 from outside, but inside it was 10/10. Reception service was good, the rooms were spacious, and from the sixth floor we had a good view. The bathroom was clean and nice, and we were happy with the beds and air conditioning. Breakfast was really good for the price, which was €2.50 per person. There was a fridge, though it was small. The metro and bars were nearby, which made it perfect for our trip to Milano. I'd give it 8/10 overall.
