Hotel Fiorella Milano

We'd definitely stay again when we next visit Milan. The rooms are small but very nice and have all the comforts, and the breakfast is excellent, with homemade cakes, croissants, savory choices, and plenty more. I highly recommend this hotel in the city center. Don't listen to the negative reviews written by idiots!

The area felt local and authentic, with people going about their daily routines. It was relaxed, with lots of restaurants and bars close by. I had a very nice stay for the price: the service was friendly, the room was clean, and the homemade breakfast cakes were delicious. I was lucky they provided breakfast for free.

The building itself didn't look very appealing, and clearer signs showing how to get to the hotel floor would help. Inside, though, the reception and my room were modern and nicer than places costing three times as much. My room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. I'd booked a non-refundable single room through booking, then called to ask about changing to a double. They said it was no problem for a 20 Euro fee, which seemed fair. When I arrived alone, I offered to pay the extra, but they let me have the double room for the single-room price.

I slept really well despite the summer heat in Milano, thanks to the portable airco in the room. It had everything I needed, and the hotel sits in a beautiful patio on the first floor. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was a 10 for me: all homemade, with lots of fruit and super coffee. There were cute welcome details, too. I'll definitely return!
