Hotel Lugano

The staff at the front desk were friendly, and it was an easy walk to the train stations. I only stayed one night, which was enough for me. The breakfast buffet had yogurt, bread, and cereal. My room was very small and in need of renovation, with damage inside. The balcony was bigger than the room itself, and had workers' materials on it.

We left our iPhone behind, but the hotel found it and sent it straight back to Germany. Great service. We paid €35, which is practically nothing, and the standard was pretty good for that price. A nice, cozy hotel. Best.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The rooms were an okay size, though they often smelled of cigarette smoke, and the bathrooms of strong bleach. The bathrooms were also a bit grubby. It's a budget stay, about what you'd expect from a three-star place.

The bed and bedding had a dusty smell, and the services started loudly at 9 in the morning, making it hard to rest. I rented a single room for five days in April. The radiator was on and I couldn't adjust the temperature, so I had to open the window and could hear the alley in the room.
