10/10
We loved how welcoming and accommodating everyone on staff was, and the location is hard to beat. It’s 10 seconds on foot to the Duomo, with several metro stations, trams, and buses close by, plus plenty of restaurants, shops, and coffee places. The whole hotel was VERY clean. Our double-bed room was spacious, the beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was huge, although the room decor is a little dated. Breakfast is complimentary, small, and really tasty, with staff making fresh lattes, coffee, and whatever else. The price was very reasonable for such a great spot. I’d recommend Hotel Rio 10000%, and I’d stay again.

The room was good enough, and the service staff were nice. Being just 2 minutes from the Duomo was great. My only thought is that the breakfast room felt too small, and it would be nice to have a second coffee with breakfast. Thanks a lot, I’d gladly come back!

The location is the only good thing about this place. The rooms were in very bad shape, with old furniture, lots of stains, and poor cleanliness. There were bed bugs.

Breakfast was included, with a hot selection and yummy pastries. Our room was comfortable, and the large bathroom had a walk-in shower. The AC kept us cool all night. Hotel Rio was a perfect place to stay, with the Duomo right around the corner. I’d recommend it to anyone.

This is a simple hotel rather than anything luxurious, but it’s a good step up from a hostel, especially for a solo traveler. My room was ready even though I arrived early; if yours isn’t, they can store your luggage. There was a small fridge in the closet, but no microwave. The free breakfast was great and the service lovely. The Duomo is less than a 5-minute walk away, literally right there, and the metro is just steps away. Milano Centrale is about a 10-minute metro ride. You can see the Castello from the intersection at the end of the street, along with the Duomo and the R starbucks. Grazie a tutti! I’d stay again.
