Sempione is priced like a Milanese hotel should be, while a lot of places nearby have pushed their rates to absurd levels despite being about the same caliber. My room was spacious and very clean, with a quiet, pleasant feel. It had no frills, but was just right for one night. The train station is right there, without the noise being obnoxious.

We went to the hotel in person because we were already nearby, hoping to see it and book directly for five nights. I'd found it online for its “central location,” and several booking platforms showed availability. The staff member we met was extremely rude and unprofessional. He said there were no rooms, and when I showed him the online availability, he said the system was “closed” and deliberately blocked sales on the computer in front of us. My wife and I sat briefly in the lobby to look for another hotel, but were offensively told we couldn't wait there and ordered to leave immediately. Being treated and humiliated like that in front of my wife was completely unacceptable and disrespectful. No guest should have to experience it. If you value your dignity and don't want to be embarrassed in front of your partner or guests, stay away. I would not choose this hotel under any circumstances. This happened on 06.01.2026 between 12:30 AM and 1:00 AM.

Sempione Hotel Staff: Milo at the front desk deserves special thanks for his dedication to hospitality. The employees were amazing, taking such care and giving detailed attention to our questions and needs. My family and I had the most wonderful, courteous, and generous experience here. It was the most pleasant vacation experience we've had so far. Thank you to the staff and management team at Sempione Hotel in Milan, Italy.

The room was spotless and comfortable, with all the toiletries I needed and a safety box for peace of mind. I was travelling solo, and everyone I met was welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout. Breakfast was delicious and had a nice range of choices. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sempione in Milan and would absolutely come back on my next visit.

We could walk everywhere from this great location and never needed the subway. The room was okay, though the beds felt a little too hard. At check-in, we got no information and had to look up the breakfast details, where the room was, and the important times ourselves. I suspected we had the same guy other people have mentioned, and I felt I might get yelled at if I asked him anything, so I waited until other staff were around. They were really kind and gladly answered our questions. Overall, a good option.
