We were happy with our one-night stay. We arrived early, before the India room was ready, but the staff stored our bags and brought them up once it was available. The room was lovely and clean, with bottled water, a Nespresso machine, tea, a kettle, toiletries like a razor and toothbrush, Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, AC, a fridge, a big TV, and a desk. They can also arrange laundry. The gentleman in charge gave us a nice welcome. It’s handy for the central station, metro, tram, and hop-on hop-off bus. Our street had a good mix of restaurants, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, whatever you fancy. Breakfast was at Loconda café down the street, covered by the hotel voucher. It was just a brioche, small orange juice, and coffee, but that seems to be a quick Italian breakfast. The coffee was excellent and the croissants fresh and tasty. The only downside was the bathroom ventilation. It either wasn’t working or we couldn’t figure it out. Since we were there for one night, we didn’t raise it with the hotel.

The building is spectacular, and the manager gave us such a warm welcome. Everything was nice and clean, and the location was really good. We loved the hotel.

The room could have been cleaner, and with the rooms on the ground floor facing a courtyard under renovation, there isn’t much of a view. The person in charge did make an effort, though: they contacted us ahead of time and welcomed us with tips on popular places in Milan at check-in.

There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and Milano Centrale is an easy walk away. The host was super kind and helpful. Worth checking out if you’re planning a stay in Milano.
