iQ Hotel Milano

The hotel has a little spa, which was great after a long day of wandering around or shopping. The staff were welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. Being right by the central station also made day tours around Milan really easy. It’s a really nice hotel, and I’d love to come back someday.

Right next to Milano Centrale, iQ Hotel Milano has a modern design, helpful staff, and a great spot for getting around. Nicolo in particular gave us a good recommendation for traditional Milanese cruise. The double room was small but clean, and the free minibar was replenished daily. Nearby office renovation work was a little noisy.

I liked being able to do laundry, and breakfast was pretty good. They also gave us free drinks and small snacks in the minibar, plus a drink at the rooftop bar. The area felt safe, the staff were nice and helpful, and the hotel is across from Milan Centrale for trains and the metro. Our room wasn’t great, though. We’d booked a double, not a small double, and may have got this room because we paid a very good rate. It was next to construction that started early and continued all day. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewer, so we had to open the windows and let in even more construction noise. We rated the stay three stars, though it might have been four with a better room. If you want to be near the action, a hotel by the Duomo is a better choice, though more expensive. For day trips and quick train access, Central Station is ideal.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at this updated hotel with modern amenities. The staff were really friendly, and the location is convenient for all the public transport you might need. We also booked the spa area and would highly recommend it if you have time.
