Italianway Comfort - Lazzaro Papi 14 C

The room was clean and comfortable, and the men who helped us seemed perfectly fine. I didn't have much contact with the staff, and we didn't eat at the hotel. My only real complaint is that there was no fridge. Otherwise, a pretty good stay, despite some of the other reviews.

In central Milan in 2026, not being able to take a hot shower is just insane. There isn't enough room here to describe how bad this place was.

During check-in, an older man was very rude. My friend had left her passport in the bag already in our room, and he started asking what I would do if he knocked on our door two hours later and demanded it. He said he wouldn't respect anyone who didn't respect him. Then I had an emergency call, but he said registration couldn't continue unless someone listened in. He asked for the city tax as though I might refuse to pay. I didn't even get to see him smile. Don't spend your money on this horror, you can find something better for the same price.

For what they charge, you'd think this was a five-star hotel, but it barely feels like two. I've stayed in one-star motels that were nicer. The shower is tiny, the TV in the room is broken, and there's no coffee maker, microwave, or fridge. If you want coffee in the morning, you have to pay extra. Save your money for somewhere nicer, with friendlier staff and better amenities.
