Klima Hotel Milano Fiere

The restaurant food was delicious, great value, and the bar and reception staff were always friendly, attentive, and very polite. The hotel is outside the city, as its page says, but it’s easy enough to reach by metro and bus. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it. Thanks to everyone!

The one drawback was the setting, beside the highway in an industrial park, and about a 20-minute walk from metro line 1. We were on a European bus tour, though, so transport to and from the hotel was provided. Inside, the Klima Milano felt new, clean, modern, and fresh, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. Our room was nice and had a modern bathroom with a bidet. We got back from central Milano and ate at the hotel restaurant at 21:00. The meal was surprisingly good, with excellent service. There’s also a large bar outside the dining room with a big-screen TV. Aside from the location, I’d recommend the Klima Hotel Milano.

Carlos at the bar and restaurant was fantastic, and although the restaurant menu was limited, the meals were fine and reasonably priced. The lobby was spacious and clean, with that familiar fresh hotel smell, and check-in went smoothly. But the AC was off. We were told they only turn it on for a couple of months each year. April was extremely hot during our visit, so even after a cold shower I was sweating in the room. Leaving for a meeting and then a flight like that was completely unrealistic. I won't come back.

The room cleaning team were impeccable. Everything else was appalling, and we were unhappy with the stay. It was my partner’s 21st birthday trip, and when we found the room thermostat wasn’t working and it felt like a sauna, we politely called reception to ask for it to be turned off. The man at the front desk shouted at my partner, leaving her upset and shocked by the way he spoke to her. The employees were nothing but rude. If you want to be treated like dirt on someone’s shoe, this is the place. We’ll never return.
