We eventually got our room, but it felt like the man was doing us a favor even though we'd already paid. We arrived at 10:00 PM and found a notice on the door saying reception closed at 8:00 PM. Nobody had told us this in advance. There was no mention on Agoda, and we received no message or warning from the hotel. We rang the intercom and called several times without an answer. After waiting a long time, we knocked hard on the glass door, and then a man came. He was extremely rude and aggressive, almost insulting, and suggested we find another hotel despite our fully paid stay. He also insisted the city tax had to be paid in cash and threatened not to let us in otherwise. After a very stressful argument and being treated with complete disrespect, we finally got the room. He even said, “If you want a nice staff, go to another hotel.” Agoda did nothing to help resolve the problem. If we hadn't insisted and confronted the staff, we might still have been waiting outside. The whole thing was unacceptable. We'll never stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
