I booked a double room spontaneously for one weekend night in Milan and paid a little over 50 euros. My dog stayed for free, breakfast was great, and they even provided a toothbrush and extra toothpaste. The service was amazing overall, more than I’ve had at any other hotel in Milan. It was a really pleasant stay, and I’d consider coming back if I get the chance. Thank you, Hotel Lido!

The breakfast was a highlight, with hot omelette and fried sausages that beat what we got at other, more expensive hotels. The room was clean and there was unlimited hot water in the shower. Lotto metro station is 300m away, and you can get to Duomo Di Milano in 10 minutes. The neighborhood felt safe, so walking to the tourist sights was nice too. This was probably the best hotel of our Italy vacation, and I’d very likely book it again if I return to Milan.

The hotel is quiet, with friendly staff and a simple but tasty breakfast. The room is basic, but it was just right for a few days. The metro station is close by, and I’ll be back. 😊

Paola, the manager, was really nice and chatty, and we had a great conversation when we arrived. The location is okay, with easy subway access, especially handy with a daily ticket. There are water fountains in the nearby square, which matter a lot in 34-degree sunshine. Breakfast was good and not too crowded, though you can tell the food comes from the supermarket. It’s good for the price. Our room was very small, but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower head seemed partly broken, though the shower worked well enough.

I booked directly just a couple of days before check-in and got a great rate, €43 a night. The room was a good size, comfortable, and very clean, with a well-maintained bed. Breakfast was plentiful, with continental choices, hot dishes, and an espresso bar. Lotto station is about five minutes away and connects to both M1 and M5. After comparing so many places in Milan, I felt this hotel was amazing value.
