The rooms were cozy and clean, with lovely decor. Breakfast at the bar was really good, with a choice of sweet or savory options. The first floor has an elevator, though there’s a small step right outside the rooms. The staff were kind and nice, and the rooms include two free drinks at the bar plus a 10% restaurant discount. The B&B is in a quiet neighborhood with good local transport, including a tram stop five minutes away. It can feel a little far from the city center and central station. Keep in mind that the rooms are right above a bar, which can be a bit noisy at night. It closes at 1am. We had a good experience and might consider staying again next time in Milan.
Living Suites is in a perfect spot, just a one-minute walk from the nearest tram stop, right by the park, with a view through the trees of the Arco della Pace. You can walk to the Duomo in 15-20 minutes. The suite was stylishly furnished, exceptionally clean, and very spacious. The bed and sofa were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, though it was an Italian breakfast with brioche, cappuccino, and orange juice, which of course suits Milan.
The area is gorgeous, and both the rooms and bar are pretty neat. Breakfast was plentiful. Getting there from the airport wasn't straightforward, though that was more or less because of the time we arrived. After that, it's easy to ride the historic tram downtown or walk 1.5 km through the sforzesco palace and grounds.
I booked a room in this suite hotel, but the area is really noisy. The café that rents the rooms opens at 7 am and closes at 1 am, and moving tables and chairs makes a terrible racket. The piazza is also full of noisy young people at night on weekends. Don't rent here if you want to sleep well.
There are open electric cables and concrete dust everywhere. This isn't a hotel, it's a construction site. The room photos are accurate, except for the dust. There’s no reception, so you have to check in at the bar below the rooms. The bar stays open until 2 am, and then there's the construction work. You can imagine what it's like. Don't book these rooms. There are much better hotels nearby, like Hotel Lancaster, just a five-minute walk away, with very good service and a proper hotel.
