I stayed at this hostel on Wednesday night and had a really good experience, mainly thanks to the service. The evening receptionist was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the woman at reception in the morning was just as lovely. Both of them were professional and upbeat, and made me feel comfortable from arrival through checkout. Their kindness made the stay memorable. I'd gladly stay here again and recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a welcoming place.

A clean, lovely hostel with great staff. They greeted us with smiles, and it had everything we could ask for: strong wifi, free breakfast, and clean washrooms. I felt safe the whole time as a woman, and think it's a safe place for everyone. It's a 5 minute walk from the metro and train stations, an ideal place to stay. I'd definitely recommend it!

The rooms were clean, and people were considerate about keeping things quiet at night. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty, and I had a good burger one evening. Getting into central Milan was easy with several rail and bus connections nearby. We were welcomed warmly and everything was explained clearly. My only regret is that I somehow missed the gorgeous cheese shop next door!

The Bistrot adds a lot to the Madama Hostel & Bistrot experience, whether you want a drink, lunch, or dinner. I stayed at the hostel for a couple of nights and would definitely come back, especially for the staff, who were always ready to help. The atmosphere was fabulous, everything was very clean, and it had what I needed. Breakfast was really good too. 🤍

I loved Milano and Madama, and I'm already looking forward to staying here again. The hostel is a short walk from a metro stop, with the city centre just over 10 minutes away. Our upgraded four person room was spacious and comfortable, with a little balcony and huge lockable storage under the beds. We got in early and were allowed to check in ahead of time. They also gave us a free room upgrade, breakfast at no extra charge, and a free drink token each. We left too early to have breakfast, but did enjoy our drinks! The bar and restaurant are lively, the rooms are lovely, and the staff are kind and helpful. Before booking, I found the website a bit confusing, so I emailed to check a few details. Their reassuring, lovely reply put me at ease. I usually book through HostelWorld, so I'm not sure why I didn't this time. I've stayed in both bad and nice hostels, and this was easily my best experience.
