The location is a plus if you’re spending a day in Milan, since this nice one-bedroom apartment that sleeps 4 is on the edge of the city center. That’s about where the positives end, though, and the list of issues is long. The outdoor area has no furniture, and there’s no living room for groups larger than 4, despite the rental allowing more people. The dining setup is limited to a counter extension, with no table for more than 4. There are chairs for 4, but one is broken. There are no glasses, dish towels, oven mitts, or clothesline. With several people, two sets of keys would also make sense. The safety and maintenance problems are worse. The hot water is set to 35°C (95°F), so turn it up if you want a shower. Doors don’t close or secure properly and get stuck. Handles aren’t firmly attached, which is dangerous with children, and there are exposed electrical wires, also a danger to kids. The shelves are poorly mounted and there’s mold everywhere. A tap in one bedroom runs constantly, making it hard to sleep. Both toilets are broken, and two of the three shutters won’t open. The advertised Wi-Fi password is wrong, so check the router settings or you could waste a lot of time struggling with it. If you’ve made it through this and still book, at least you’ve been warned. Enjoy your stay!
