My favorite find was a pair of almost DS Jordan 1 Black Toes from 2016 for just 60 euros, which felt like a steal. I wasn't sure they were authentic, though. I paid to have them checked with the CheckCheck app after leaving Milano, and unfortunately they didn't pass. I couldn't go back to try to return them, and now I'm skeptical about whether some of the other items are authentic too. I visited all the stores except the one for women, along with plenty of other thrift shops. Bivio was the only one that actually had some nice stuff. This particular shop had the strongest men's selection, including Vetements shoes, Balenciaga, Phillip Plein, Raf Simons, some Jordans, and even Rick Owens. Most prices seemed fair to me. Rick Owens and Balenciaga seemed pretty rare here, but there were a few pieces. I liked the stores a lot. More pieces from those brands would have made it fantastic, but I'd still recommend checking it out if you're into fashion and visiting Milan.
We were greeted by Christie, who was just lovely. She speaks Italian and English, and was a joy to ask for advice. She helped us find pieces that fit well. It's definitely worth a stop on a Milan trip, or a go-to for stylish Milaneses looking for durable, great, affordable fashion. I couldn't recommend a better second-hand shop in Milan.
The selection, condition, and variety here really stood out compared with the many secondhand shops I've visited around the world. It's a clean, organized place with good finds in nice condition and lots of sizes. I wore the pants I bought in Switzerland the next day. One seam had a gap, but I fixed it easily with my travel sewing kit, no big deal. I've seen comments that the staff are unfriendly. They don't really talk to you, but I liked being left alone to browse without pressure to buy, and nobody seemed actively rude to me. It's fair to prefer a more interactive shop experience, but I wanted to share another point of view.
I really like this shop. The senior staff member caught my attention with her own inspiring fashion sense, and she was friendly, chatting with nearly every customer and helping with what they needed. The prices aren't the cheapest, but this is a business, not a charity shop. For me, going vintage isn't only about finding something cheap. It's also about the fun of discovering a design piece that catches your eye. I'm an XXS Asian and still found a size 48 jacket I basically fell in love with. I love the relaxed feel here. Nobody pushes or hustles you while you shop, and they let you take your time. I'd go every day if I lived nearby.
Found some really good little trinkets and jewellery here, and the collection feels authentic. The staff are nice and polite. Highly recommend it, especially if you're after blazers or jackets, since there's a big selection.
