Milan Royal Suites Magenta & Luxury Apartments

It felt like a cheap motel, with a plastic couch and a stain on the carpet. The place seemed like it had been used for drugs and sex, and we wouldn't recommend it. For what we paid, it wasn't worth it: very cheap-looking and nothing like the photos. There was a cigarette smell mixed with a strong cleaning-product odor when we arrived. I told them, and they sent someone to check for themselves. They said it didn't smell of cigarettes, then stopped communicating. Cigarette butts outside every window seemed to suggest otherwise.

Even though we were only there for one day, the apartment was spotless and had what we needed to sleep, cook, and relax. The host stayed in touch to check that we were happy. We're glad we chose this place, thought it was worth the price, and plan to visit again.

Everything went smoothly from the start. Communication was quick and easy, and the apartment was clean and ready for us. A very kind gentleman met us with the keys and shared useful tips on things to see, places to eat, and where to go in Milan. He even helped us call a taxi. Milan Royal Suites is right in the heart of the city, just a few minutes on foot from the Duomo di Milano and the main attractions. Great service and hospitality. We'll definitely return!

The ceilings are high, the bathroom is superb, and there's lots of space. The kitchen was well stocked with hot and cold drinks, and the bed and linen were really comfortable. I stayed in Mascagni 2 and only wish I could have stayed for a week. The Malpensa Express and subway are nearby, and I felt very safe walking around alone at night. A delayed landing and a rail strike left me needing a night in Milan, and this was a wonderful welcome to the city. I booked just two hours before arriving, and within a minute I was in direct contact with the hotel, getting my check-in arranged and arrival instructions.
