The reception team who checked me in were friendly and let me into my room early, even though I arrived at 10 a.m. The person on duty when I left was a different story. I handed back the keycard and waited to make sure everything was settled, then he just said, “It’s all done,” with a death stare. No thanks, goodbye, or other pleasantry. My small fourth-floor room was comfortable enough for one person, but the lifts were very slow. The Wi-Fi didn’t work during either of my two nights, even after I reported it following the first night. The building is old and the lobby looked grubby, though that didn’t matter much since I wasn’t spending time there. It’s about a 7-10 minute walk from Milano Centrale, which is handy, but less so with suitcases. You can also walk to the city centre at a leisurely pace in around 20-30 minutes.

Even after we’d checked out, the staff offered to keep our luggage until it was time for our flight, without us having to ask. That was a real help and meant a lot. The location made it easy to reach both the train station and city centre. Our room was practical, comfortable, and clean, and the reception team were consistently kind and glad to help.

The service really stood out. The staff were excellent, and I’d recommend this place to solo travelers or couples. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant was great. I’ve included some breakfast photos, it’s a choice you won’t regret :) The room was simple but clean. The location is handy too, with restaurants and cafés easy to find and a Penny supermarket just around the corner.

Alessandro made our stay feel special with amazing service. The reception team were warm and welcoming, and paid close attention to the details at breakfast. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommend.
