Hotel Oro Blu

The room and bathroom were both spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, with the metro and a grocery store two minutes away and a fast food restaurant five minutes away. But it felt rundown and outdated, including the simple furniture. The kettle came with two coffees and two Earl Grey teas, but the tea looked like it had been sitting there for weeks. There was no spoon or anything to stir with, and no coffee creamer. Some nylon or similar material under the sheets made a loud noise while we were trying to sleep. The TV was tiny, and its remote stopped working after two minutes. This is meant to be a 4 star hotel, and those things shouldn't happen at that level. I'm staying in a 3 star hotel in Amsterdam now, and it's miles above Oro Blu. They should renovate and upgrade. I'm not saying this is a bad place for a few days, but it's not up to the level of a 4 star hotel.

We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at Hotel Oro Blu. The breakfast was delicious, reception staff were welcoming and quickly brought any amenities I asked for, and the free luggage storage and water bottles were nice extras. The AC only heated the room, so it got a little warm, while opening the windows brought in some outside noise. Even so, the excellent service and hospitality made the stay pleasant. I'd still recommend it.

The staff at Hotel Oro Blu made me feel very welcome. They were kind and professional, and communication went smoothly throughout. That sort of hospitality turned the trip into a lasting memory. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it. I'll definitely come back on my next visit to Milan. Thank you for your kindness!

The walls are so thin that I could hear everything happening in the next room. There was no iron or ironing board, despite them being advertised, and the only substitute they offered was a useless steamer. They didn't offer an ironing room or housekeeping as another option either. I wouldn't book this place for business.
