Francesco stayed in touch by email for weeks before I arrived, and helped me get ready for the trip with advice on places to visit, restaurants, and transport. He kept being attentive and available throughout my stay. Thanks as well to Marcello and everyone on staff, from reception to the restaurant, for being so welcoming and ready to help. The hotel itself is very nice and well located for enjoying the area. They made the trip a pleasure, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed three nights in rooms 120, 110, and 114, and found the hotel clean, well located, and just a genuinely nice place to be. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. We arrived late on Friday after a long day, and Francesco made check-in easy and welcoming. He was very nice and efficient.

The hotel felt outdated and unremarkable, maybe two stars at best, and the man at reception was extremely rude. Before booking, we called to ask if dogs were allowed and were told the hotel was dog friendly. When we arrived, though, they said our Labrador wasn’t welcome and told us to find another hotel. We called specifically to avoid that situation. If there were restrictions on the type of animal, they should have told us when we asked.

The restaurant, lounge, and balcony all feel premium, and the room was good with all the amenities. Ask reception for slippers. The continental breakfast was amazing, with lots of extras and excellent coffee machines. The location looks far from the center, but I really enjoyed the 50-minute walk to Duomo. A perfect place for a two-night trip exploring the city.

Francesco at reception was personable and helped me with my bow tie. Thanks so much, Francesco, you’re a good guy.
