Romana Residence Hotel

The location is excellent, close to key attractions, and communication with the staff was smooth and efficient. There were some positives, but plenty of things disappointed me too. The room was very noisy, making it hard to relax or sleep well. The towels and bathrobes were essentially the same thing, which isn't what I'd expect from a place promising some luxury. The advertised "minibar" was just the fridge. I also wasn't expecting to be told at check-in that cash payment was due at checkout, and that would have been useful to know beforehand. I had requested a balcony but didn't get one. The entrance wasn't especially inviting, and the amenities were so basic that you might want to bring your own toiletries. The hotel also seems better suited to tech-savvy travelers, since you need a stable network connection to handle check-in and other procedures. There are some upsides, but clearer communication about what to expect and a few updates would help.

There isn't a reception on site, but they responded very quickly and were friendly over Whatsapp when I needed help with luggage and paying the tourist tax. The room was beautiful, and the location was excellent, with buses, trams, and the metro nearby or a short walk to the city center. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I liked how simple arrival was: everything was handled online, so we got building access and went straight to our room. The place was clean, and everything looked new. There’s a grocery store in the same building, and they let us leave our bags in a locked cupboard after checkout. O'Macaro is on the same street too, with delicious food and a convenient location. I really enjoyed staying here.

Romana Suites made it easy to get around Milano, with the métro and tramway just a few meters away. We could reach the Duomo in about a 15-minute walk. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, and we were welcomed with coffee, croissants, and a bottle of fresh water. We had a lovely time and I’d happily return. I recommend it.
