Smart Central Apartments Bayres

The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a small built-in kitchen and a washing machine. We liked the location, near the central station and four metro stops from the Duomo. Thanks to Antonio for the clear instructions, check-in was quick and easy.

The apartment was small and clean, with a balcony and a pretty view. It's right in the center of Milano, so we could walk everywhere, and the bed was really comfortable. Check-in was easy, and our contact was friendly and very helpful. I'd book it again.

The next morning, there was no water at all from 9 AM to 5 PM. The manager said there'd been a condominium notice and that it wasn't his responsibility. I told him that if he knew about an outage lasting that long, he shouldn't have rented the place, since basic sanitary conditions weren't available. Even if it had been an emergency, which it wasn't, he should have offered a solution or some compensation. He didn't. He answered arrogantly that the water would be back after 5 PM. The same thing happened the next day, again with no water from 9 AM to 5 PM. It was over 35°C in Milan, and the apartment on the 6th floor had no working AC, so it became unbearably hot. I also recorded videos of ants crawling all over every room. My requests were ignored, and eventually I was told to "look for another place to stay." I still haven't received any refund or compensation. I rented directly through their website, spoke with the manager on WhatsApp, and paid the full amount upfront by bank transfer. As soon as I arrived, I found several serious problems: the TV didn't work, the bedroom shutter was broken and stuck open, several bathroom lights were burnt out, and the air conditioning unit didn't work. A horrible experience. Avoid this property at all costs.

In the Napoli apartment, the bed squeaked whenever either of us moved, and the mattress was old and awful. The place was very humid and smelled so strongly of mold it was suffocating. There was mold in the shower, nowhere to hang wet towels, and the shower water wouldn't drain. The toilet paper was the cheapest kind. The kitchen had no kettle or coffee maker, and the couch pillows were separate. The A/C only worked in one direction or the other, so someone had to freeze. The manager wasn't helpful or friendly. Managers who don't care about their guests shouldn't get bookings. There are plenty of other places to stay. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
