Starhotels Ritz

The room was small, but very clean, modern, quiet, and a perfect temperature. It had a darkening shutter and comfortable bedding. Room service was limited to pizza, salad, and simple pastas, but all were exceptional for room service. The breakfast buffet was exceptional too. Greta greeted us at the 24 hour front desk with door service and immediately made us feel at home, answering all our questions. The location was perfect for getting to shopping, metro trains, trams, and Milan Central Train station. We spent a week here, and if or when we return, we’ll stay again for the access, service, and amenities.

The hotel was very clean and nicely kept, and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. When I was deciding whether to park onsite or on the street, they helped without pressuring me either way. They even sent a staff member to check the street where I’d parked and make sure I wasn’t breaking any parking restrictions. It was a reasonable walk to the historical centre, and I’d happily book again.

The staff on the floor, at reception, and in the restaurant were very kind. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. There was only a very small selection of cold cuts and cheeses, and the other options seemed more focused on boiled vegetables, rice, and chicken, which in my opinion aren’t really suitable for breakfast. The room was clean, but there were only two power outlets, neither by the bed. They were both by the desk, where I couldn’t plug in two chargers at the same time. Each time we came in from outside, there was a sewage smell. I don’t know if all rooms are like that. We didn’t complain since we spent most of the day out, but it definitely needs attention. The hotel badly needs a proper renovation. If it has been renovated recently, it either became outdated very quickly or the work was done very poorly.

The service was friendly and the rooms were clean. We were very satisfied with our stay, and the location was perfect for being right in the middle of the action near Milano Centrale. Thank you for everything. Warm regards from Germany :)
