We paid 500 for two nights through Airbnb, expecting the place to match its description and photos, but it wasn’t comfortable. I’d asked well in advance for the sofa bed to be made up for two adults and our baby, since the baby sleeps with me and we can’t all fit in one bed. It still wasn’t prepared. When I called, they told me to do it myself. With our three-month-old crying and us exhausted, we needed help, but responses were late and there was no service. The utensils were on shelves so high that only someone seven feet tall could reach them. I discovered that after coming back from the supermarket with groceries. It was also so hot we were drenched in sweat, and the baby kept crying from the heat. The customer service was the worst. I don’t understand why anyone in this line of work would make things so hard.

The whole building smelled disgustingly of garbage, and the bathroom sink made a horrible drilling noise every night we stayed for four nights. We were out sightseeing all day, but couldn’t sleep at night. It started even when we hadn’t bathed or used the sink, and stopping using it didn’t help. We complained but got no fix or refund, even though we’d booked the place so we could rest and have energy to travel. The noise was deafening and seriously annoying. I’ve attached a video of it.

Everything is automated through WhatsApp. They respond quickly, and the place is clean.

We couldn’t sleep any of the nights because of the noise from the pipes and the smell in the building. It was awful. The technician never showed up, and no one offered a solution or any kind of help.
