The Carlton

The standout was the service. Everyone was warm, proactive, and smiling, and operations already felt well organized for opening week. Check-in was smooth, housekeeping was accurate, and room service arrived on time. I also got a double upgrade when I arrived. The front-desk managers listened carefully and took notes when I shared a few constructive comments, which seemed fair in the hotel's first days. I stayed at The Carlton Milan – Rocco Forte from 18-22 Nov. The rooms were new, comfortable, and thoughtfully finished, and the food was consistently good from breakfast through dinner. The setting is quiet and discreet, while still just steps from the best shopping and sights. A strong new addition to Milan. I'd gladly return and recommend it to friends and colleagues.

The drinks and the story behind them were a highlight. The bar has a lovely list that feels like a love letter to Milan, with delicious bites too. We loved the Linea Rossa cocktail, especially if you're into Campari. Martina and Roberta were engaging and intuitive, and the team moved around the bar effortlessly even during the busy hours. Martina told the cocktail's story like she was sharing it with a friend, and we were completely drawn in. Honestly, even a non-drinker might have ordered one. It was a gloomy, rainy day, and after visiting a few hotel bars in the city centre we ended up at The Carlton. The team welcomed my friend and me with warm, genuine smiles, even though we weren't staying there. Little things like that make a difference. We ran into Hotel Manager Gabriele, who kindly showed us around a bit. The front-of-house and door teams looked modern and sharp, too. Finally, a place like this has opened. As a Milanese local, I think the city needed somewhere human, fun, elegant, and charming, especially when it can feel snobbish and grey. The Carlton is in the best part of Quadrilatero della Moda, and the rooms and suites are beautiful. The bar is great too. Luca and his team make perfect cocktails and provide awesome service. Best hotel in Milano, in my view. We'll be back soon.

I spent five nights at the hotel and everything was perfect. The staff were amazing, especially Mr. Alessandro, the concierge, who made my stay even more special. Thank you. I'll definitely return to The Carlton.
