The Street Milano Duomo

We spent three nights at the property over New Year's and had a great stay. The location is excellent, and the rooms are huge by European standards. We were really pleased with how clean and comfortable they were. Every staff member we met was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay. 10/10 recommend!

From the time I booked, the team got in touch with useful suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. They were always ready to help during our stay and replied almost immediately whenever we needed something. The service made a real difference to my Milan visit, and I highly recommend staying here. The hotel is in the heart of the city, only a few steps from the Duomo, so it was easy to get around and take lovely Duomo photos at any time of day, often without crowds. Our room was surprisingly spacious for Milan, with comfortable space for three people and three suitcases.

The location is very good, but the management made our stay feel like guest comfort came second to making money. We booked directly months in advance and paid an average of €528.33 a night for October 24-27, 2025, in Room 402 on the fourth floor. Only at 5:19 PM on Saturday, October 25, the second day of our stay, did the hotel message us on WhatsApp to say there would be a private event on the fifth-floor terrace that evening. We were traveling and needed rest, so we asked for it to end by 10 PM. We also said a few hours' notice left us no chance to change plans or make other arrangements. The party carried on past midnight. There were lots of teenagers, and the loud voices and music continued until around 1 AM. When we complained to the front desk, staff said they couldn't act because the event had been approved by the hotel manager, Julia. We asked to speak with her, but she ignored the request and showed no remorse. The hotel failed to provide a quiet, restful environment, and I found Julia's conduct unprofessional and unfair to guests. Think carefully before booking, and cancel if you still can.

I was sick and couldn't rest or sleep because a birthday party directly above us kept going until 1 AM. Young people, some of whom looked under 18, drank, shouted and laughed while deafening music and heavy bass filled the room. We recorded the noise on video. The hotel rents out its fifth-floor rooftop on weekends, then, according to our experience, only tells guests on the day of the event, saying the music will stop before midnight. It didn't. We heard that manager Julia told staff to notify guests as late as possible, leaving them no time to cancel. We complained to the front desk repeatedly without effect. When we asked to speak with the manager, staff said she was on weekend leave and would not return until Monday, with no clear time, and offered free breakfast. At checkout at 10 AM Monday, we still hadn't seen Julia. After several failed attempts to resolve things, we asked for that night's €574 charge to be refunded or said we'd complain to the relevant authorities. Julia accused us of extortion, and we still hadn't received the refund by then. This isn't the rest we expected for €574. Julia showed no sincerity, and management seemed arrogant and more concerned with profit than guests' rights. The hot water also swung wildly in temperature, and the jacuzzi started by itself twice. This hotel is expensive, and I wouldn't book it unless you don't mind paying a lot and can sleep through the noise.
