I found this to be clean, pleasant accommodation for the money, and I’d strongly recommend UNA Hotels Mediterraneo Milano. It’s in a central, lively part of Milan with lots of transport options, including trams and buses. I stayed two nights as a solo traveler. My single room and bed were plenty big for one person, and the bathroom and bed linen were properly clean. Bathroom cleanliness really matters to me, and even the sink was spotless. There was an open wardrobe for my bag and luggage, a window, and some complimentary treats, which was a kind touch. The heating was okay, though I needed to warm the room in the evening because it was cold. Breakfast had a broad choice of Italian treats, eggs, vegetables, and more. The staff were friendly and served guests nicely.

Porta Romana metro station is just around the corner, and the Duomo is only two stops away. The classic-style rooms were very clean, and the service and housekeeping were great. Breakfast was nice, with different choices each day. The only drawback was the noisy air conditioner, which somehow switched itself on during the night. Good value for the price.

It was a comfortable, clean hotel of a good standard, but nothing especially memorable. I didn’t have breakfast, though it looked well stocked. I’m still not sure what I thought of the artwork and decor.

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The lobby was nice, with a breakfast room and a bar for the afternoon. Staff were pleasant and accommodating.
