Uptown Palace

The view of the Duomo from the restaurant on the thirteenth floor is fantastic, and the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Duomo. Make sure to book a table well ahead, especially on Fridays and weekends. The staff are very friendly, and there are great shops and restaurants nearby. A public parking garage is a five-minute walk away. Room rates, drinks, and dinner are on the expensive side, though the location and view will cheer you up.

The location is very good, and the hotel is excellent with outstanding customer service. The staff, especially Francisco and the Filipino employee, were attentive and very helpful. The sound insulation is poor, though, and the bedding quality needs improvement and an upgrade.

I needed a room in Milan at short notice. I was about to book through a regular online agent, but decided to ask the hotel directly about availability instead. Booking that way was a lot cheaper, saving me about 100 euros. The staff were helpful and straightforward, and even took the time to show me the rooms beforehand. The stay was really nice. The room was comfortable and well maintained, the shower and bathroom were great, and the shower gels and amenities felt luxurious. I slept well. Thanks very much, Hotel: Uptown Palace.

The 13th-floor restaurant has a spectacular panoramic view, and my only small gripe was the breakfast buffet, which didn’t have much variety and could be improved. I stayed for three nights and was genuinely impressed by the hotel. The location was perfect, about ten minutes from Duomo Plaza, and the friendly, professional employees were very understanding. I arrived at 1:30 PM, two hours before the 3:00 PM check-in, and they gave me a room right away and even upgraded me. That thoughtful welcome meant a lot. Thanks to the reception team, and especially to the bellmen, Qayyum and Francisco, for being kind and quick to help with everything we asked. It was a wonderful stay, and I can’t wait to come back.
