The staff were pleasant and very helpful, and we enjoyed our time at Hotel Chopin from 24 to 27 May 2019. It's centrally located, so it was easy to get around to the places we wanted to see. We had comfortable accommodations and an excellent shower. Breakfast was simple but enough for us. We enjoyed the stay very much.

We arrived late in the evening after booking through booking.com and paying for three nights in advance. The staff were very rude, and they refused to check me in, saying they'd cancelled my booking. They seemed to think I wouldn't show up. I did, and these wonderful people, apparently under the influence of marijuana, asked me to pay again. 😂 This was a first for me. I strongly advise avoiding them so you don't ruin your holiday.

Fine for a couple of nights, and the beds were great. The shower was decent and came with a hairdryer, and staff were there late at night to hand over the keys. Sound insulation wasn't good, though. If your window faces the street, you can hear it, and in the morning you can hear the neighbours too.

The room was clean, so I have no complaint about that, but it was noisy because the hotel is next to the streets. Reception didn't feel friendly, as if they were doing you a favor by letting you sleep there. The room was 100 per night, plus a fee they told us about after check-in. I wasn't expecting breakfast to be brought to the room. There's no dining area, and the breakfast really wasn't good. Better to go across the road for cheap, good pizza or panini.
