The kitchenware was dirty. The cutlery, glasses, and cups looked as if they had been put back in the cupboard without being washed. I couldn’t even have a coffee, and I could see previous guests’ lip marks on the glasses. The apartment itself smelled bad, and the cleaning seemed very cursory. There were stains on all the walls and on the plastic floor. The shower sprays water from a tiny hole in the side of the wall all over the bathroom, and it takes paint off the wall each time. The bed was miserable. I’ve camped plenty and love it, but at a hotel I expect a mattress that doesn’t feel like sleeping on the floor. The quilt was so thin that the heater had to stay on all night, and the pillow felt like two thin stones. Between the smell, furniture, and amenities, this so-called “luxury” place felt more like a hospital or a poor student residence. Please don’t put yourself through a stay here. I’m never coming back.

We spent two weeks here and had a great stay. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and kind. We cooked a lot, and the kitchen setup worked really well. Thanks for lending us the sewing kit!

We paid around €580 altogether for three nights and four people, including parking and tourist tax. At that price, the stay didn’t feel worthwhile, since we could have booked somewhere better, nearer the center, with free parking and working amenities. Check24 and Expedia had listed several facilities as included, including the steam bath, wellness lounge, and relaxation area. The sauna was meant to cost extra. When we arrived, none of the wellness facilities were available. We were told there was an issue with the booking platforms, but nobody offered a real solution. The reception staff were friendly at first, though their tone changed noticeably once problems came up.

We booked a family room for New Year’s Eve, and it worked great for the four of us. Parking was free, and the receptionist and the rest of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The residence style hotel was modern, clean, and spacious. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the bus and metro stops for the downtown and historic areas, which wasn’t very comfortable.
