UNA HOTELS Century Milano

The hotel is truly wonderful, with excellent service and a very good breakfast. Its location is handy too, about a five-minute walk from Milano Central train station. Finding the place is difficult, though, and walking there in the evening may not suit everyone. If you’re a woman walking alone, I’d look elsewhere. I’ve attached photos of the street signs pointing to the hotel. Follow the signs.

Breakfast was great, and there are lots of little restaurants just around the corner. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was very firm, but you could ask for a topper. We didn’t have dinner there.

We had a lovely family stay, and the location was great. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The rooms were quite warm, and the air conditioning isn’t switched on in April, so we had to open the windows. Early morning waste collection made it extremely noisy. Any minor issues we raised were dealt with right away.

Getting to the airport took around 15-30 minutes depending on traffic and cost about 30 euros. The hotel is five minutes from Grand central train station and Central f.s Metro station, and trams run regularly. Breakfast offered hot dishes like bacon, scrambled and boiled eggs, and sausage, as well as cereal, fruit and yogurt. We were told an omelette costs 7 euros, and that room air conditioning is available only from 1 May. The hotel is tucked back from the road and covered in protective netting. The rooms were spacious, neat, clean, and really quiet for a busy city.
