Stefanie was delightful. Even though she can’t collect every guest from the station, she offered to pick me up. I was also welcomed with drinks, snacks, a 2 lit bottle of water, and an early check-in. My room was immaculate and new, with a balcony looking out to the sea on one side and the village on the other. Breakfast was wonderful, with hot croissants, cheese, meats, sweet cakes, and, most importantly for me, muesli and natural yogurt. I could eat it again! The B&B is in Milazzo’s original old village, a few yards from the amazing, tourist-free 'castle" complex, which I found incredible. There are several restaurants just steps away and a mini supetmaket about a five-minute walk away. If you’re after a clean, modern, friendly, beautiful B&B, you’ve found it. Thank you, Stefanie, for such a lovely welcome. I felt like I’d been there a week, not just a day.

We ended up extending our stay after booking just one night before our trip to the Aeolian Islands. The owner was kind and happy to help, and dogs are welcome. The room was roomy and inviting, with a comfortable bathroom and a veranda set up with a dining table. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including fresh croissants, and was served outside with a view of Mount Etna. Everything was easy to reach on foot. Highly recommend.

The manager had been lovely and very helpful over the phone, and was supposed to be there for breakfast as we’d agreed, but she didn’t show up. We wanted to explain what had gone wrong, but couldn’t. The breakfast was the last straw: there was no milk, nearly everything served was packaged, except perhaps the bar croissants, and we had to eat on a terrace in blazing sun. The umbrella was broken and unusable. The rooms are nicely furnished, but the bathroom was not fully clean and the shower arms didn’t work. All this for 105 euros for a triple room.
