Villa Isabella

The views were lovely, everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly. There are a few steps to reach the room, but that felt easy compared with the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Minori turned out to be a better place to stay than I expected. This was our favorite place during our 7-day stay in Campagna. If we come back, I'd choose you again, so don't think twice, just book.

The stairs turned out to be perfectly manageable, about what you'd expect around Italy. Our room at Villa Isabella matched the description, was very clean and spacious, and sat in a perfect central spot. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had no complaints and would definitely return.

We loved our time at Villa Isabella and would return in a heartbeat. Next visit, we'd pick a beach-facing room for a full ocean view and a bigger balcony. Our room was already spacious and comfortable, with lovely views of the sea and town, and the balcony and terrace were romantic places to relax with wine and watch the sunset. The location is right across from the beaches and close to everything. Parking in Minori is limited, so we left the car at Hotel San Francesco in Maiori, which is owned by the Villa Isabella owners. Angelo moved our bags in a 4-person Piaggio Ape trike, parked the car, and drove us the few minutes to the villa. He carried all four bags up the stairs while we followed slowly. He’s the hardest-working bellman we’ve ever met. Whenever we needed the car, he arrived within five minutes. Emanuela also kept in touch the day before and as we drove in, so arriving was stress-free. Martina at Hotel San Francesco set up a great day trip to Capri. The ferry passed the Faraglioni di Mezzo (o Saetta) for photos, went around the island, then docked at Capri. A private tour was available too for 25 euros. She suggested two of Minori’s best restaurants, Taberna 33 Bistró and Ristorante Giardiniello Minori – Costa d’Amalfi, and said mentioning her name would guarantee a reservation. From the communication and service to the comfort and location, everything about Villa Isabella was exceptional. Highly recommend!

We travel all the time, but I've never dealt with people this heartless. I booked without realizing how difficult the trip to this hotel would be for my disabled husband. We contacted them and explained that this was our first time in Italy and we hadn't known how hard it would be for him to get there. They showed no compassion or understanding. Don't book here. They were extremely unfair and money hungry jerks.
