The hotel design, location and staff were all positives. But the windows don’t block the sound, so morning traffic gets especially loud. The air conditioning had been turned off for the season even though it was still hot and stuffy.

The gardens make the hotel feel straight out of a fairy tale, and the design is impeccable. We also loved being away from the tourist zone and getting to know the local area. The staff were excellent. Already looking forward to coming back.

The dining room was spectacular, and breakfast was very good. The breakfast team were excellent and professional. We also loved the quiet residential setting, which is walkable for people who don't mind covering some distance. For us, walking everywhere worked well. The room itself was simply and modestly decorated, but it was dirty: there was about two centimeters of dust under the bed and trash left by previous guests on the bathroom floor. That was really disappointing for a room costing 400 euros a night.

We could have happily stayed longer. Villa Laetitia is such a lovely, special place in Rome. I enjoyed the thoughtful touches in our charming room, and our friend had a wonderful, relaxing balcony. Having morning coffee in the garden was a favorite part of the stay.
