Hotel Infinito

The staff made our stay especially easy. They explained the map and how to use the metro and trains, and were so kind and friendly. When strikes canceled our train, they let us recharge in the lobby. We could store our luggage in lockers before check-in and after checkout, and they even let us check in early. The room was very quiet. We stayed two nights. The room was clean and had air conditioning, and though it was small, the bathroom was nice and made good use of the space. Breakfast was small and pastry-focused, with a fun coffee machine that had different drinks. We walked about 20 minutes to the Colosseum, 35 minutes to the Trevi and Pantheon, and 1.5 hours to the Vatican. Manzoni was about 10 minutes away by metro, and Roma termini, the nearby main train station, was about a 20-minute walk. We preferred walking. We really enjoyed it here and would stay again.

Sound insulation is pretty limited. From my room on level two, I could hear the front door slamming from about 6:45am, along with plenty of noise from the stairs and breakfast room.

The reception person was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was good value for our family of six across three rooms. There was free coffee and a simple breakfast, and the central train station and some nearby attractions weren’t too long a walk away. The rooms had been nicely modernised, though the bathroom facilities were a bit basic. We’d definitely stay at a Blam hotel again. The Vikey check-in was the main downside. It asked for far too much information, including photos of everyone holding their passports, and my security software flagged it as a suspicious site, so we didn’t check in ahead of time.

We felt well looked after and had a really nice stay. The staff were outstanding, helpful, and kind. Reception is open only for a short time, but they were reachable on WhatsApp 24/7. We’d asked for two single beds but got a double when we arrived, and they fixed it quickly. There was daily cleaning, and the staff seemed to keep the place in very good shape. The hotel was clean, affordable, and fairly well located near public transit. Breakfast was free and a very nice touch. Our room was pleasant and the beds comfortable, although the bathroom was dated and laid out awkwardly. For what we paid, we couldn’t complain.
