Last month we stayed here for three days. My son had bought an expensive antique art piece, a statue, wrapped it carefully in bubble wrap, and put it in an open bag. It was very heavy and kept in our room beside our other luggage. While we were packing to leave, we realized it was missing. My son told the front desk right away and searched the garbage area, but came back empty-handed. Eventually the manager said the cleaner had thought the statue was garbage and thrown it away. She told my son to report it to the police. We had to do that at the airport as we were leaving the next day. That was an interesting experience in itself, but we persevered and gave the hotel the police report. We expected this expensive, posh hotel to admit the staff's mistake, take responsibility, and provide suitable compensation. Instead, they offered a credit for a future stay, as if we'd ever come back. Tourists are warned about pickpockets, but I'd tell anyone considering this hotel to watch their belongings around the staff too. If you do stay, check every day that your things are still in your room and haven't been taken by overzealous staff.

We spent four days in Rome and the hotel met all the things we were looking for: room, breakfast, and location. That's five stars from us. It's near Barberini metro station and between Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Staires, and Monument of Vittore Emanuel to Colosseum. Our renovated standard double room was very clean. They cleaned it and changed the towels every day. Breakfast was fresh and varied, and the coffee was very flavorful. The staff were polite and ready to help with any questions. We definitely recommend it and will come back!

Micaela deserves a special thank you for the amazing coffee and warm service. The rest of the service was attentive and pleasant too. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms are spacious and kept very clean. It's near a metro station and trevi fountain, and the breakfast buffet is high quality. Definitely recommend this hotel in rome!

Our room's balcony overlooked Via Veneto and made for lovely photos of my daughter's first trip to Europe. The hotel is on a quiet street, yet close to everything, with easy metro access. Breakfast was incredible, with fresh, delicious pastries, meats, cheeses, cereal, fruit, yogurt, nuts, eggs, and vegetables. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the breakfast team. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back.

Our room was spotless, and when we had a small problem with the air conditioning, the staff handled it beautifully and moved us to an even better room with a lovely view. The bartender was incredibly kind and supportive, with a great cocktail list. Salute! We first visited Rome in April, and the Hotel Imperiale team went above and beyond once they found out it was our first time. On April 14th, a female staff member warmly welcomed us and eagerly gave us a city map. I'll never forget that. Omar and Frecia, apologies if I got her name wrong, also deserve a special mention for their kindness, politeness, and help with everything, including arranging our airport transfer. They made the end of our trip so smooth. Thanks for having us back. We'll definitely see you again, Hotel Imperiale!
