Al Ponte del Papa Bed and Breakfast

Danilo and Julia take real pride in the B&B, and I’d happily stay here again if I’m back in Rome. They communicated well and were fantastic hosts. It’s a short bus ride into the center, with enough quiet around it to get away from the crowds. The breakfast was as good as any I’ve had in a hotel. Thank you!

Danielo and Giulia really made the stay. They’re lovely, attentive hosts who want you to be comfortable, and Danielo makes the best breakfast we had in Rome. They also gave us ideas for places to visit and restaurants to try. The B&B is spotless and charming, within walking distance of the Vatican. There’s a terrace facing a quiet courtyard where you can relax with a glass of wine. The area felt safe and was easy to walk around, even at night. Highly recommend.

Danilo and Giulia, thank you for making our time in Rome fantastic. They even arranged a shuttle from the airport when we arrived and another to the train station when we left. With four of us, they brought breakfast right to our room. What three star hotel does that? We’ve never had that kind of treatment in America, even at five star places. They were kind and gracious hosts to my wife, twin sons and me. The B&B is very well placed for the Vatican visits we made each day, and there were lots of local restaurants for dinner. I can’t understand why it isn’t a four star establishment. I’ll definitely stay here again if I visit Italy.

Their breakfasts were delicious, a great way to start each day, and the cleanliness was outstanding. The air conditioning worked perfectly too. Al Ponte Del Papa B&B is close to the Vatican, which made it easy to set off on long walks and then come back to rest. We loved our stay, fell in love with Rome, and will miss this place. We’ll definitely return!
