Villa Romana Hotel & Spa

Dinner was a lovely surprise. The menu is short, but everything was freshly made and tasted great. Breakfast had an amazing spread, from pastries and fresh fruit to a full English breakfast. The service was just as good, with everyone eager to help. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We chose a balcony room and loved both the room and the terrace. The small upgrade was worth it, and I think it may also mean a larger, quieter room. Everything was spotless and cleaned daily, and the staff were always helpful. Breakfast was amazing every day. Minori itself is a quiet, tiny village, so everything is close. The waterfront and ferries are a few minutes away, and the bus stop and taxi area are about a three-minute walk. There are good restaurants nearby too. We loved our stay and would happily return.

After six days in Rome and then six in Sorrento, my wife and I were glad to spend two nights enjoying the quiet of Minori and the comfortable rooms at villa romana. It’s a small town with a relaxed feel and a few nice restaurants. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, though I wasn’t keen on the powdered eggs. The fruit, on the other hand, was amazing.

The pool area is small but lovely for spending a few hours, and the breakfast was well stocked and kept up. Since the hotel is right in the village center, there can be a little noise. The beach is a four-minute walk away. The staff were warm and welcoming. For the room safe, you get a key, which felt more secure to me than an electronic one. They only photocopy your passport, they don't keep it. The AC worked well and brought the room down from 32 to a steady 19.
